Method

How Verity works and how we score

The six measures

Risk recognition

Sees the real risk early, including harm to people, not only reputation.

Quality of challenge

Asks probing questions of the executive and of colleagues.

Ethical judgement

Puts the people affected at the centre of decisions.

Escalation

Involves the right people and regulators at the right time.

Clarity of accountability

Is clear about who owns the failure and the fix.

Speed of decision

Acts promptly without acting carelessly.

How scoring works

Each decision is scored from 0 to 100 on each measure, with written evidence that points to the decision itself. The Verity Index is the average of the six scores. In full sessions, a trained Lakeshore facilitator reviews every score before the report is issued. AI supports the assessment; people remain responsible for it.

Our limits

Verity is a rehearsal, not an audit. A score reflects decisions in one simulated scenario. It does not certify compliance with any law or regulation.

Responsible AI and your data

We do not train AI models on your answers. Demonstration answers are stored for up to 24 months to improve the product. Pilot session data is confidential to your organisation and is used in benchmarks only in anonymised form and only with your written consent.
